On Sunday, July 22, 2023, the monumental center of Odesa was attacked by the Russian terrorists. The historic Transfiguration Cathedral also received a direct hit and was heavily damaged.
Nothing goes too far for the Russian aggressor in this war that cannot be won for them, but in which they can inflict considerable damage on Ukraine (and the world).

In April 2019 I visited Odesa to prepare trips to the city. A beautiful, interesting city where you could taste the European past, and also a city that could use some renovation. Its location on the Black Sea, the Boulevard and the beaches made it a very pleasant city.

After the war, Odesa will again attract plenty of tourists.
